Mesa · Epoxy floors
Mesa's epoxy flooring company for shops and garages
You want an epoxy floor in Mesa that still looks poured-on after years of summers and hot tire parks. Tell us what the space does all day, and someone from our team calls you back to plan it.
What you get
A floor built for heat, tires and a working day
Mesa floors take a beating that a showroom floor never sees. A west-facing garage door can bake the slab through the afternoon, a car parks on it with tires that can reach above 200 F after a drive, and a shop floor adds oil, pallets and steel wheels on top of that.
The coating has to be chosen for the job the room does, then installed over a slab that was actually prepared for it. That is much of the difference between a floor that lasts and one that peels early.

Signs
What a failing floor looks like
Hot tire marks that will not wash off, and bare concrete showing where the coating lifted.
A yellow band where the sun hits the door.
Cracks at the apron that open every summer.
A patch that curled at the edge.
A floor that dusts when you sweep it.
Any one of those can mean the slab, the prep or the product was wrong the first time.

Published national ranges, not a quote.
A thin roll-on kit and a full flake build are not the same product, which is one reason the range is wide. The cost page breaks it down by system and garage size.

5 questions
What people ask us
Still have a question? Call (747) 243-2089 and describe the floor.
What does an epoxy floor cost in Mesa?
Published national ranges run $4 to $10 per sq ft installed, which puts a 2-car garage at $1,600 to $5,800 and a 3-car at $2,300 to $8,600 (HomeGuide). Slab condition, moisture and the coating build move that number more than square footage does.
How long is the garage out of service?
Epoxy takes about 2 days to install and up to a week to cure (HomeGuide). One polyaspartic schedule runs 12 hours to light foot traffic, 24 hours to everyday use and 96 hours before a car parks on it, in warmer conditions (a garage floor coating company's guide). A cooler month gives more working time than July does.
Do I need to empty the garage first?
Yes. Everything comes out, and the slab needs to be clear before it is ground. A clear slab also shows the oil spots that have to be dealt with.
Can a cracked or wet slab still be coated?
Often. Cracks and spalls get opened and filled, and moisture gets measured before a coating is chosen. The slab should test under 75 percent relative humidity on an in-slab probe, so a higher reading calls for a moisture mitigation step first (an epoxy flooring guide).
Epoxy or polyaspartic for a Mesa garage?
Epoxy is the base and polyaspartic is the topcoat in many garage builds here. Polyaspartic is more flexible, holds color in UV and cures fast, at $5 to $12 per sq ft against $4 to $10 for epoxy (HomeGuide). A west-facing door is the argument for the topcoat.
